Another thing that isn't a card...

Hey!
I bought this remote stand ages ago, but it was too plain and boring, so i've brightened it up abit. I keep it on my desk to keep the desk (a tiny bit!) tidier. It was just plain wood, and varnished. So i sanded it, then painted the whole thing blue, and painted random flowers on the side.

My truth + info about the daisy cutter + more cupcakes!

Hi again!
I've had so many comments and emails about the daisy cutter i used on my cupcakes the other day, so i thought i'd do a post and tell you all where it's from. I bought mine from a lovely little cooking shop, but i've found the same one on lots of websites including this one...
You'll have to scroll almost to the bottom, and you'll see it. I think mine's the medium one, but i'm not 100% sure. I've never ordered from here, so can't tell you about delivery or anything.
Now i'm going to reveal my truth from the award last week. And the truth is...
No.4 - My Dad lives on a boat, works in a chocolate factory and i can have free chocolate when ever i want
Ok, so it sounds more little kids dream than it actually is. But it is true :) He lives on a canal boat, and works as an early morning cleaner at the factory. Staff can take as much chocolate as they want, because they get so sick of it they don't want much. But i do! lol
Now i'll leave you with another cupcake picture. They're a bit dodgy, so don't look too close!

I'm Freeeeeeeee!!!

Hey bloggers!

I'm soooooooo happy! I had my last exam this afternoon, so now i'm freeeeeee! (for a bit anyways haha) Anyway, my point is, that i'll have lots of crafty time...yippee :)

I've just finished printing mum's birthday invites off, so here's some piccies. They are made on the computer, then printed onto Anitas 4x4 cardblanks, but it was soooo hard to get our silly printer to hit the cards. I was going crazy designing them on the computer. For something so simple, it was veeeerry complicated! I had to make them upsidedown so that it would print properly. I've made 20, but mum's now decided to tell me she probably needs more. Oh happy days!

hehehe more cupcakes...

Hey!
Sorry for another cupcake post today. It's my new obsession hehe.
This morning, Mum and me went to the little cooking shop in town to buy a new spatula. About 3/4 of an hour later, we came out with a spice rack, some fancy napkins, a daisy cutter, and a piping bag nozzle and no spatula! They didn't have what we wanted, but y'know :)
Anyways...i've made big and little cupcakes/buns/fairy cakes (lol) this time, and piped blue buttercream on, then put a daisy on top and sprinkled with glitter. I ran out of icing sugar half way through, so some just have a little bit on :)
Here's some piccies of making the daisies. The cutter's amazing! It cuts and kind of embosses them at the same time :) Then i coloured the middles with yellow food colouring.

Lexi's creations DT

Hey lovelys!

Well, i'm sorry i'm been such a bad blogger at the moment. I'll get back into it soon i promise. My exams are nearly over (only 4 left...yey!), and then it'll be summer, so i'll have lots of crafty time :)

I've got tonnes of half made things, and have no idea what to do with any of them to get them finished. There's a little album made from newspaper that just needs decorating, a photo frame thats painted and glittered but needs embellishing, and a smint tin thats been painted and inked prettyy much every colour, and i still have no idea what to do with! I'm gonna try get some done this week, so that i can show you :)

Anyways, enough of my rambling...onto the card!

I've made this for the Lexi's Creations challenge, which this time is 'something old'. My something old is the spraypaint that I used to make the background. I've used one of Lexi's new sentiments, which you can buy from Lexi's doodles, prima flowers, papermania brads, and lots of pearls from quixotic paperie. I've edged it with rock candy crackle glaze, but i wish i had the white one!

I'm entering it in The Creative Cottage - Pink
