Vintage Candle

Hey!
Here's a candle which has been sat on my desk waiting to be decorated for about a month, so i thought it was about time. I bought the Personal Impressions stamp at a car-boot sale yesterday and just had to use it for this. It is stamped onto tissue paper with 'walnut stain' distress ink, heated onto the candle, then finished with some 'star dust' stickles.
I'm entering it in Stampin for the weekend - shabby or vintage

Butterfly candle and card

Hey! :)

Todays craftyness is a little matching candle and card set. I bought this gorgeous stamp a couple of weeks ago so I thought i'd better use it. I can't remember the make as i've lost the packaging but i'll find it sometime. For the candle i stamped it onto tissue paper in 'walnut stain' distress ink, and then melted it into the candle. The card is inked (a bit much???) with walnut stain distress, then stamped prima swirls, d'vine swirls embossing folder, woodware punched roses, x-cut punched flowers, pearl string and anitas gems.

I'm entering it in these challenges:

Tuesday Taggers - getting messy hands (sponsered by The Craft Barn)

Lots To Do - use a machine

Sophisticats - Embossing

Creatalicious - create a little something

Now... i thought you might like to see my lil messy corner where i make all my cards :) This is my fave place (apart from the craft shops), where i spend most of my free time and I LOVE IT!!! Behind the desk is mum's bed, cos my desk is in her room, and thats covered with more stuff that i don't have room for, so i lift it on and of the chair when i need to use the desk.

I think i need a tidy.... ahhh well.

I'm Here!!!

Hiya
Sorry i've been such a bad blogger lately. Me mojo went on holiday and i think its finally returned...Yippeeee! I was getting scared because i've still got tonnes to make for christmas but now i can hopefully get on with it. and i finish school tomorow so will have more time, AND its snowing! Wuhooo!
Anyway...Onto my project. Its a candle i've made for someone, but i'm not sure who yet. The picture is from google images, and says 'Christmas Wishes' but i couldn't get it all on the piccy. I printed it onto tissue paper (never done that before), melted it into the candle, and then put holographic (?different colours everytime you look) glitter on some parts. I'm going to wrap it in cellophane with ribbon and a tag, but the glitter is still wet so i'll do that later.
I'm entering it in these challenges:
