Hi all!

Here is a card i've made using 'Tilda with Balloon', coloured with distress inks. Isn't she just sooo cute! Everything is inked with Vintage Photo distress ink and stitched, and the image is glittered with 'Star Dust' stickles.

Distress ink colours:
Skin - Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose & Victorian Velvet
Hair - Vintage photo
Dress & bow - Weathered Wood & Black Soot

Special Birthday Tilda

Hey bloggers!

I'm sorry about the long wait for a post. I've been uber busy with school work and exams this past week so it's been reeeaally nice to have a little play at my messy desk this weekend :) Here's what i've come up with....

At first, my plans were to make a card with a little box inside, but i changed my mind at the last minute and put a pocket in instead.

The front is following the sketch from Simon Says Stamp, and i used Prima papers, a Tilda coloured with distress inks, some pearls and ribbon and lace from the ribbon girl (my prize from Just magnolia last week!) It is hand stitched, inked with Vintage Photo distress ink and distressed with scissors.

It is quite similar the my last card but i really {love} these papers and the image!
My photos are rubbish again today i'm afraid. I'm really struggling in this horrible weather to find any decent light!
Distress inks used:
Skin - Antique Linen & Tattered Rose
Hair - Vintage Photo & Black Soot
Top, present, socks and bow - Weathered Wood & Black Soot
Trousers - Vintage Photo & Black Soot

The heart is cut from chipboard and then covered in the Prima paper, inked and crackle painted.

Here is some natural twine which i bought the other day, tied into a bow, with a butterfly charm :)
The back...
For the inside, i made a little pocket for a gift card/money etc, and then on the right panel is a blank bit to write a little message on.

I'm also entering this in:
Just Magnolia - favourite things
Stamp Something - anything goes

Hiya!

Here's a card made using a gorgeous new stamp which i won in Maria's candy a few weeks back :)

I coloured the image with distress inks, and glittered with star dust stickles. The paper is from Prima's 'Jack and Jill' collection, and is hand stitched and lightly distressed with stickles. Then i just added a combination of different flowers, a sentiment tag, a charm and some pearls.
Tilda is coloured with distress inks:
Skin - Antique Linen, Tattered Rose, Vintage Photo
Hair and trousers - Vintage Photo, black soot
Top, socks, present, headband - Weathered Wood, Black Soot I'm entering this in Papertake Weekly - anything goes, Stamp something - something wth glitter, Magnolia Down Under - a gift for you

Simple birthday

Hiya

Here's a card i made just for fun last week, but silly Mr Blogger hasn't been working for me so here it is now! I'm trying to make a few flatter cards which are cheap to post, but it's harder than you think you know!

I used K&Co paper, nesties, a printed seniment, prima flowers and lace from Bunny Zoe's Crafts. The edges are distressed and inked with walnut stain distress inks, then i hand-stitched round the edge twice! And added pearls to the centres of the flowers.

Hey bloggers :)
This card was sooo fun to make :) I've used Noble Tilda (again), and stamped her to sit on the sentiment, which is done on the computer. The papers are by the paper cellar, and are my favourite ever. They are sooooo gorgeous and this is the last of them :( I've added flowers from wild orchid crafts, a doily, pearls, glitter glue, inkyness and faux stitching...et voila!

Tilda is coloured with distress inks:

Hair - Walnut Stain

Skin - Antique Linen, Tattered Rose

Dress + shoes - Tattered Rose

Bow - Antique Linen

Rose - Walnut Stain

Leaves - Peeled Paint

I've just realised i've cut her earing off :( I'll sort it out...

Now i've got some piccies of yummyness to show you :)
I made this white chocolate cheesecake this afternoon, and it's gorgeous (if i do say so myself!)
I couln't find a nice recipe for a chocolate one, so i used a rasberry one and adapted it a bit. There's milk chocolate in the base, and white chocolate in the filling...yum!
I might do a recipe post sometime :)

I'm Freeeeeeeee!!!

Hey bloggers!

I'm soooooooo happy! I had my last exam this afternoon, so now i'm freeeeeee! (for a bit anyways haha) Anyway, my point is, that i'll have lots of crafty time...yippee :)

I've just finished printing mum's birthday invites off, so here's some piccies. They are made on the computer, then printed onto Anitas 4x4 cardblanks, but it was soooo hard to get our silly printer to hit the cards. I was going crazy designing them on the computer. For something so simple, it was veeeerry complicated! I had to make them upsidedown so that it would print properly. I've made 20, but mum's now decided to tell me she probably needs more. Oh happy days!
