Hi Everyone.

Did you enjoy christmas? I did! And i finally got my cuttlebug. I don't have many things to go with it yet, but i've had fun playing with the 3 embossing folders i do have. We were supposed to be going to my grandma and grandads house for chritsmas day like we always do, but we couldn't get there because of the snow, so we stayed at home. Luckily we had all the food so we had a nice meal, and grandma cooked them something nice too. We went to theirs yesterday instead for another xmas day so that was fun.

This card is a fairly simple 'Thanks' card, to say thanks for the christmas pressies. The papers are some i got as a present from mum, and i have no idea where the stamp is from!

I'm Here!!!

Hiya

Sorry i've been such a bad blogger lately. Me mojo went on holiday and i think its finally returned...Yippeeee! I was getting scared because i've still got tonnes to make for christmas but now i can hopefully get on with it. and i finish school tomorow so will have more time, AND its snowing! Wuhooo!

Anyway...Onto my project. Its a candle i've made for someone, but i'm not sure who yet. The picture is from google images, and says 'Christmas Wishes' but i couldn't get it all on the piccy. I printed it onto tissue paper (never done that before), melted it into the candle, and then put holographic (?different colours everytime you look) glitter on some parts. I'm going to wrap it in cellophane with ribbon and a tag, but the glitter is still wet so i'll do that later.

Ribbon Tree

Hi everyone

I hope your all ok. I was meant to be going christmas shopping today with my cousin but she is ill so we couldn't go :( I've got lots of crafting done though. I havn't actually finished anything yet but have about 5 half done cards and 2 partly decorated boxes...i get bored of one thing so move onto another lol.

First i wanna say a massive thanks to the fab and amazingly talented mandy who sent me another load of images, flowers and a gorgeous christmas card. I had a nice lazy morning in front of the tele colouring in the images, so now have lots of cards to make. Now i'm going to copy her and show you a picture of my smelly cat, Morissa in christmas mode. She has the worst smelling breath ever so everyone calls her 'Smelly Cat' like in friends :)

(sorry about the minging carpet...mum's fault not mine!)

Now here is a ribbon tree i've made as an early christmas pressie for grandma and grandad. Loops of different ribbons pinned into a polystyrene cone with a pretty red rose on the top...simples! I'm entering it in the Die Cuts R Us challenge which is 'Lets See a Gift'

My favourite place is my craft desk. Its overflowing a bit though woops!

I have M.E. so only go to school for 1 ½ hours a day…Lots more crafty time though J

My favourite film (at the moment) is Keeping Mum. It is a comedy and is a bit weird but I like it and have watched it 3 times since Friday.

I HATE reading… apart from magazines (celeb and crafty). My brother and sister are both English geeks and are always reading but I’d rather watch a film instead – Much easier.

I’m obsessed with supermarkets value chocolate. Its like 30p for a bigish bar and tastes nicer than other makes.

I spend more time on DoCrafts than I do making cards.

I CAN’T WAIT TILL CHRISTMAS!!! I’m getting a cuttlebug…Wuhoooooo!

100 cards for children in need TOTAL

Well i am sending the money off to children in need today.I didn't manage to make it to 100 cards. i made 75 and sold 73 of them. BUT the good news (like i said in my last post) is that i made over the £100 i wanted to raise. People were very generous and paid lots more than the £1 i was asking for so the total is..............£152! Yippee!

I wish i could have finished all of the cards and sent off more money but i have been asked to make some xmas cards for the oxfam shop in town and then have to make cards for us to send out so didn't really have time.

Thanks for all your support and encouragement and i hope the money can help someone somewhere.

I had planned a crafty day today but i've run out of double sided tape, so can't get on with it until mum gets back from town with more :(

Red and black

Hey!

I hope your all having a nice weekend. I had a lazy day yesterday and all i did was watch TV and films all day : ) but then i couldn't sleep so i made this card at about 2 o'clock in the morning. I had to be very quiet though because my craft desk is in mums bedroom and she was asleep.

Anyways.... this is my entry for the creative inspirations challenge which is red and black this week. I barely have any red and black stash though and all i could rind was 1 A4 sheet red paper, 1 A4 sheet black card, a red promarker and a black promarker. So i made my own backing paper using red paper, black ink and the free heart stamp from creativity! a while ago. I used some greay promarkers too so that i had more colours to use.

Well i'm finally back into blogging again. yippee. i didn't post anything for ages and then i've just done 3 posts in a week :) it has been the holidays though so that could be an explanation.

Here's a card i've made for Wendy's challenge at digital doodling using one of here fab images. i just love this little piccy and she's so much fun to colour that i coloured her 3 times and made her into a decoupage! I felt a bit bad too that i hadn't used my promarkers in a while so i used them lots today.

The layout is a fab sketch for the challenge at Stamp With Fun. I love this sketch... i'll deffo use it again.

blue and green birthday

Hey hey hey!

Just another quick post today because i'm meant to be helping tidy up because my brother's having a party here tonight before he goes of to uni next week.

Stamp Something wanted our favourite colour combo, which at the moment mine is blue and green, and Sketch and Stash provided the layout and wanted a new thing, which is the flowers that my buddy Mandy sent me. i've been a busy bee today!

Hiya peeps.

I've been so busy today. I went to school this morning and then had an injection at school this afternoon. I don't mind them but some of my friends were terrified - it was so funny lol. Then when i got home i found a package waiting for me on the dining room table and it was a load of scrummy goodies from Mandy. (thanks mandy) There was loads! images, paper flowers, silk flowers, paper roses, card candy (those dotty things), charms, lace, some other dotty things (not sure what they're called but they are gorgeous)......i think thats everything but i probably forgot something and i forgot to take piccies before i put it all away. DOH!  i went straight to my craft desk and made these 4 very quick cards.
