Sweet Tilda 'Just for you'

Hey!

Here's a card which i've made for my grandma to give a friend.

It's made using 'Sweet Tilda', coloured with distress inks, papers from a k&co pack, an x-cut border punch, flowers made with blossom nesties, papermania rub-ons, and a stamped sentiment. All of the edges are distressed with scissors, and lightly inked with walnut stain. And then i finished it with 'star dust' stickles, pearls, and papermania gems.
Tilda is coloured with distress inks:
Skin - Antique Line and Tattered Rose
Hair and shoes - Walnut Stain
Dress - Peeled Paint and Victorian Velvet
Socks and ribbons - Victorian Velvet
I decorated the inside with a piece of patterned paper from the same set, and distressed the edges like i did on the front.

Heart of gold - wedding/anniversary card

Hiya
Here's a card i've made for one of mum's work friends, for her wedding in a couple of weeks.
The cardblank was already embossed with the flowers, but i cut it down as it was A5 sized, and i wanted it smaller. I inked the edges with antique linen distress ink, and embossed lines around each edge, then made a heart shape from x-cut punched flowers, and added perfect pearls and glitter glue to the centres, then finished it with a couple of white pearls.
I need a bit more practice with perfect pearls, so don't look too close!

Vintage Candle

Hey!
Here's a candle which has been sat on my desk waiting to be decorated for about a month, so i thought it was about time. I bought the Personal Impressions stamp at a car-boot sale yesterday and just had to use it for this. It is stamped onto tissue paper with 'walnut stain' distress ink, heated onto the candle, then finished with some 'star dust' stickles.
I'm entering it in Stampin for the weekend - shabby or vintage

I used Papermania scalloped cardstock, linen effect cardstock, x-cut punch, nellie snellen die, ribbon, Anitas gems and distress inks.

Back to simplicity...

Hiya
Todays card is very similar to this one, that i made a while back. I really liked the layout and colours, so have kept them the same, but changed the embellishments to make it a bit different.
I've used Papermania scalloped cardstock, white linen effect cardstock, x-cut punched flowers, Nellie Snellen ribbon slider die (from the ovals set), white ribbon coloured with my 'sandstone' promarker, and Anitas gems. The edges are lightly inked with walnut stain distress ink.

Finished :D

Hiya
I've finished all my thankyou cards...yey! I cut and inked them last night, and then sat doing the sewing while watching a dvd last night, and put 'em togther today :)
There's a mixture of papers. Mainly k&co, and then some others which i don't know the make of. I inked them with Walnut Stain distress ink, added sentiments with my Studio G alphabet set, and fastened silk flowers on with a brad.

Flowery thankyou

Ello :)
I'm making a start on my birthday thankyou cards. And the plan is to get them all done by tomorrow, but i've only done one so far!
I've cut the card with my nesties. And used k&co paper, walnut stain and antique linen distress inks, stamped sentiment, stitching, and flowers from my stash.
I'm gonna do them all similar, so the next ones should be fairly quick.

Mint Choc Chip Tilda : )

Hey!

Well, i've had the most amazing week. Last weekend was Mum's party, then her birthday. Then I broke up from school on Thursday, and yesterday was my birthday! :)

I had the best birthday ever. Got some lovely pressies from the family, then went to The Stampman demo weekend to spend some pennies :) I got some gorgeous cards from Debbie and Vix...thanks lovelys! And bought some yummy Tim Holtz goodies. A fab day. It was nice seeing everyone!

Today, I had a lazy morning as i wasn't feeling great, then we went out for a meal with grandma and grandad, which was nice. Even if i was half asleep, but y'know! :)

Anyways, the card...

I've kept it quite simple this time. The papers are so gorgeous, that i couldn't bare covering them up! I've used Sweet Tilda again, and coloured her with distrss inks. The papers are from the Basic Grey - Capelle collection, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, and a computer made sentiment, cut out with nesties. I've sprayed the whole card with gold glimmer mists, and finished with pearls and stickles.

Tilda is coloured with distress inks:

Dress, Socks and Bows - Broken China then Antique Linen (to match the papers)

Shoes, Hair and other dress-ness - Walnut Stain

Skin - Tattered Rose, Antique linen

Floor - Walnut Stain

I'm entering it in these challenges:

Stamp Something - Something Flowery

Papertake Weekly - Cutie Patootie

Your Next Stamp - Easel Card

Crafty Cardmakers (spotlight) - Easel Card

Paperplay - Blue, Cream + one other colour

Just Magnolia - Vintage

By the way...

Top Tip - If you drop a camera on the floor from a height, it will break. I discovered that earlier just as we were going out, so have to buy a new one now :( But for now, the trusty old Kodak is out again!

Pearl Wedding Anniversary

Hey!
Todays card is a fairly quick/simple one, which i've made for my aunty and uncles pearl wedding anniversary in August.
I used my sizzix butterfly die, and then embossed it with the swiss dots embossing folder. Blossom nesties, d'vine swirls embossing folder, Antique Linen distress ink, and pearls. The whole card is sprayed with gold glimmer mist, but you can't really see it in the pics.
