Pumpkin carving of my ickle pussy cat

Hey!
Some of you may remember my pumpkin obsession last year, and i have to admit that it's back!!! I know it's still ages away from halloween, but mum bought me a pumpkin to play with, and so play is what i did!
Last year, i used templates from the internet, but this time i've had a go at making my own from a photo. This is the result...

Heart of gold - wedding/anniversary card

Hiya
Here's a card i've made for one of mum's work friends, for her wedding in a couple of weeks.
The cardblank was already embossed with the flowers, but i cut it down as it was A5 sized, and i wanted it smaller. I inked the edges with antique linen distress ink, and embossed lines around each edge, then made a heart shape from x-cut punched flowers, and added perfect pearls and glitter glue to the centres, then finished it with a couple of white pearls.
I need a bit more practice with perfect pearls, so don't look too close!
I'm entering it in:
Cupcake Inspirations - white/wedding photo inspiration
Lexi's Creations - flower power
Pocket Full of Posies - floral fantasy
Crafty Cardmakers - clean & simple
My Time to Craft - jewelled
Right, i'd better go sort my background out then...

Vintage Candle

Hey!
Here's a candle which has been sat on my desk waiting to be decorated for about a month, so i thought it was about time. I bought the Personal Impressions stamp at a car-boot sale yesterday and just had to use it for this. It is stamped onto tissue paper with 'walnut stain' distress ink, heated onto the candle, then finished with some 'star dust' stickles.
I'm entering it in Stampin for the weekend - shabby or vintage

Back to simplicity...

Hiya
Todays card is very similar to this one, that i made a while back. I really liked the layout and colours, so have kept them the same, but changed the embellishments to make it a bit different.
I've used Papermania scalloped cardstock, white linen effect cardstock, x-cut punched flowers, Nellie Snellen ribbon slider die (from the ovals set), white ribbon coloured with my 'sandstone' promarker, and Anitas gems. The edges are lightly inked with walnut stain distress ink.
I'm entering it in:

&
Papertake Weekly - White and Bright
