Monochrome again

Hiya everyone

I treated myself to the Craft Stamper magazine this morning and its AMAZING! I've never bought this one before, and it is quite expensive, but it has lots of tips and techniques, aswell as prizedraws and a free gift, so its deffo worth the money. (No connection etc).

I've been playing with the free stamp tonight, and this is what i came up with. The paper is from the monochrome papermania capsule collection, free docrafts sentiment, anitas gems, cardstock and roses from stash.

Be Who You Want To Be

Hiya

I was planning on doing loads of crafting this half-term, but Mr Mojo decided to have a holiday too, so this is the only thing i've managed to make apart from a huuuuuge mess! The base is half of a ribbon reel, which i was about to throw away, but instead it got attacked with inks :) I covered it with My Minds Eye paper, and then inked it with peeled paint and broken china distress inks. My favourite prima swirl stamp around the edge, dragonfly stamp from another set and alphabet stamps (can't remember makes) Finished with a couple of eyelets, a hanger and a charm.

First go at an album

(This is a long post as there's tonnes of pictures)

I've got something quite different to show you today. People who know me, will know how much i love to try out different things. So today i'm showing you my first mini album. I loved making this... it was sooo much fun! I wasn't sure what to put inside, so I just put the first things that came into my head. To say i started it at 2 in the morning when i couldn't sleep, i'm quite happy with how it turned out. Some pages were quite hard to take photos off as I used lots of shimmery embossing powder, so sorry about the dodgy piccies.

The album is cut from a cardboard box, and fastened together with book rings. I did have 3 but managed to loose one... woops! Some pages have patterned papers from my paper cellar wedding pack, and then all are attacked with walnut stain distress inks and splatted with water.

On the front cover i stamped 'My Book' (well that's what it is!) using See d's letter stamps, and then stamped and embossed my gorgeous prima swirl stamp around the edge. Then i went a bit crazy with my x-cut flower punch. lol. Each flower is glittered and with a gem.

On these pages is see d's stamped titles, prima swirl stamp as a tree, and embossed ground.

This page is stamped around the edge with the swirl stamp and then left blank for my family to sign.

Embossed edges, stamped title, green tara flowers, sticker and envelope from stash, with a message from mum... awwwwww! :)

Another page left blank for my friends to sign, and corner stamped with swirl stamp.

Friends page - velum pocket with tag and quote, woodware punched flowers, green tara flowers, everything else from stash.

Swirl stamped border, stamped heading, die cut hearts sent by a docrafter. The opposite page is blank as i havn't decided what to use it for yet.

The back cover is made to look as if it's been accidently sat in water :)

heart-fly flowers

Good evening everyone

Todays card could be used for lots of things..... wedding, anniversary or anything else so i've called it 'heart-fly flowers' because its got hearts, a butterfly and flowers :).... clever eh!? The background is stamped with my new swirl stamp from prima marketing which i'm in love with and am gonna use loads, cuttlebug embossed panel, nestie and butterfly sent by a docrafter, x-cut punched flowers, pearls, gems and hearts from stash.

This is another card just to have in my card box, so it doesn't have a sentiment on yet. My mum challenged me to make a flat card that wouldn't cost a fortune to post.... so here it is...with no roses :( The papers are papermania capsule collection-monochrome and red hot, image from charmed cards and crafts coloured with promarkers, green tara flowers coloured with cool grey 4 and poppy promarkers, x-cut retro flower punch and anitas gems.

Hiya

I've been having a play today, with some of my new goodies i got on friday. I bought the monochrome caplsule collection papers (papermania) seems as i've been using the others so much, and they're gorgeous! I'm a little bit dissapointed about the colours though. I thought they'd be black and white, but most of them are grey, but they're still lovely.

This card is just one for in my box, so i thought 'just for you' is good to have in. The roses are made using my new woodware punch, cuttlebug d'vine swirls embossing folder, handcut tag with free docrafts stamp, anitas gems and everything else from stash.

Distress Inks

Hellooooo
Just a quick post from me today, because we're just about to go to grandma and grandads for sunday lunch on a saturday :D
I bought some ranger distress inks yesterday and this is the first time i've used them. I only got 2... walnut stain and tattered rose but i love them! The papers are from the paper cellar, image from katy, diy roses, everything else from stash.

Well is it fair to say i'm back into this whole blogging lark now? I think so :) Today i've got a card for lots of challenges, seems as their all about valentines at the moment. I got an order last week for a valentines card, but i've only just made it and he's coming to pick it up tomorow... that was a bit close.
