Happy Birthday too you...

Hi all!

Here is a card i've made using 'Tilda with Balloon', coloured with distress inks. Isn't she just sooo cute! The blue paper is by Prima, and the pink is Tim Holtz, and then i added a Magnolia sentiment, some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, 'birthday' bunting, lace and punched butterflies. Everything is inked with Vintage Photo distress ink and stitched, and the image is glittered with 'Star Dust' stickles.

Distress ink colours:
Skin - Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose & Victorian Velvet
Hair - Vintage photo
Dress & bow - Weathered Wood & Black Soot
Socks - Black Soot
Shoes - Walnut Stain & Black Soot
Balloon - Victorian Velvet & Black Soot

I'm entering this in...
Just Magnolia and Hanglar and Stanglar - Happy Birthday
Simon Says Stamp - For a child
Simon Says Stamp (children's challenge) - Anything Goes
By the Cute and Girly - Cute and Girly

Thanks for looking
Rachel xx

HI Rachel, Been watching your blog for sometime. First comment. LOVE your work whether it be cards, altered stuff or baking. Just one question. Why are all your cards done in pale colors? Is this the style in the UK? I don't see you use many bright colors like red, yellow, grass green, etc. Just wondering? Thanks,
